ELVITEN = Electrified L-category Vehicles Integrated into Transport and Electricity Networks

Duferco Energia has installed 60 charging points for EL-Vs and 24 lockers for e-bikes in Genoa as part of the Elviten project.

An EL-V is an electric light vehicle with two, three or four wheels.

The Elviten Project

• It was created to encourage the use of light electric vehicles in urban areas to replace traditional vehicles
• It saw the collaboration of six European cities: Bari, Berlin, Genoa, Malaga, Rome and Trikala
• Its main objectives were reducing traffic and environmental pollution, facilitating movement and parking for users, increasing awareness of the benefits of electric mobility
